This policy applies to the ModelTally website, application, accounts, AI visibility scans, reports, and related support. It does not govern the independent practices of third-party websites or AI services.

We collect information you provide or create while using the service:

• Account details such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
• Organization and business details, including website, category, location, competitors, and tracked questions.
• Scan inputs and outputs, including AI-provider responses, citations, mentions, recommendations, and generated reports.
• Subscription, plan, and usage records. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored directly by ModelTally.
• Operational records such as scan failures and security-relevant audit events.

• Provide authentication, business workspaces, scans, reports, and subscriptions.
• Send scan prompts to configured AI providers and analyze their returned responses.
• Find business locations, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

ModelTally uses providers including Supabase for authentication and data services, Stripe for billing, Mapbox for business search, Trigger.dev for background work, hosting infrastructure, and the AI providers selected for a scan. These providers process information to perform services for ModelTally under their own contractual and privacy terms.

We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use access controls and tenant-aware database policies, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Authenticated users can update account details and use the Privacy settings page to download data or begin guarded account deletion. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some records may be retained when required by law or necessary to protect the service.

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
